Etsy is making me crazy today!

Argh!!  I have tried three times to list my Party cabinet but Etsy is being obstinate.  So I'll post some more pics here and maybe try again tomorrow for Etsy.

You're invited to a party!

This is what I made today.  I love it.  It's a party all ready for 4 ladies, be they big or small.  There are 4 party hats that I made and trimmed with gold dresden trim.  There are 4 party favor baskets and 4 teacups and saucers and plates that I also painted.  There is a cake that I painted and decorated and the floral arrangement is made with vintage flowers.  The cabinet is painted and distressed to look old, and the shelf backgrounds are paper.  Each shelf is also lined with lace.  And I love the Party banner at the top.  Yep, I made that also. :-)  And, of course what party is complete without a present?  hehehe

And, in case you couldn't tell from the picture it is a miniature.  It measures 4" x6".

Spring at the farm

Yesterday Miss Kitty and I were walking through the pasture and we came upon these little beauties.  I was soooo excited! I love love love spring flowers and I was so disappointed that I didn't get to plant any last fall as I was still not walking well.  Well, God took care of that for me and gave me such a treat to have spotted these!  Yeah, God! And, thank you.

We also had some fun taking pictures of our shadows..and the chickens came with for some fun also....

Ok, so there is a lot of other stuff there in the picture also, but here are my girls.  I made them out of several different clays and wire and wood.

Family, Swaps and more

  In the middle of February my sister, Miss Kitty and my aunt moved up here to join us from Florida.  Miss Kitty will be putting a home for her and Aunty on our land, but in the mean time she is setting up house in a travel trailer and Aunty is staying with Farkle and I.  It has been interesting.  Farkle and I love my family but sometimes with all the different personalities and ways of doing things it gets stressful.  Miss Kitty also has 2 dogs and Aunty has one.  Miss Kitty's young dog does not like my husband and, oh boy, is that fun to deal with.  (NOT)  Here is Miss Kitty in the back pasture walking her pooches.

  I also wanted to post some of the photos I took of the two swaps I just completed. 

Farkle and I just camo home from a trip to Greenville, SC.  Farkle sings Barbershop in a chorus from Nashville and they had the district contest there this weekend. We had a wonderful time.  The scenery on the drive was marvelous.                          

   

Our Hotel , The Poinset, was beautiful.  

Greenville also had art around town....

But my favorite part of Greenville was being with this gorgeous man....

And his chorus..well they did awesome! The took 2nd place out of 22.  That was a great because in fall they took 4th out of that same group!  YEAH!

What's been going on here....

  It's been so long since I last blogged because as Spring approaches there are so many things to do here at the farm.

  I'll post more later, but here's a snipit of some new things....

These are two of the four new rabbits we have gotten recently.

                                And this is a new goat that we got.  She makes three goats that we have now.  Her name is Daisy. (I call her Daisy Mae).  She is a dairy type we believe and eventually we will breed the two that are in the picture and have kids and fresh milk.
